Eddy Harrison

Eddy Harrison On September 6th, 2009 Eddy was inducted into The National Traditional Country Music Hall Of Fame in Anita Iowa

I grew up on Country music, Western Music, Gospel Music, and Folk music. I knew by the age of 5 I would be a singer. I began singing in a little country church and at age 14 I got my first guitar. My first performances were for my school classmates and parties. At 21 I was fronting for a dance band that played all over New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Arizona. At about age 23 I wrote my first song.

I have been singing, writing, and recording TRADITIONAL COUNTRY, COWBOY MUSIC, AND GOSPEL MUSIC, for 55 years. I have had my music published and or recorded by Stuart Hamblen, Cliffie Stone, Red Steagal, Snuff Garrett, Dick Curless, and just recently Linda Filener. I am a long standing member of WMA and have been recently invited to be installed in THE NATIONAL TRADITIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME in September in Anita, Iowa.
